These are so easy and oddly amazing tasting. If you love pork ribs, try this version made off the bone and wrapped with delicious goodies.
INGREDIENTS:
1lb ground pork
½ cup scallions, sliced thin
1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
1 clove of garlic, minced
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp sesame oil
Iceberg lettuce leaves, rinsed, trimmed, and dried for wrapping
TOPPINGS:
Scallions, sliced thin
Sriracha
Hoisin sauce
Sweet chili sauce
Toasted sesame seeds
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
PROCESS:
In a medium mixing bowl combine pork, scallions, ginger, garlic,
JF Spicy Salt, pepper and mix well using your hands to fully combine. Portion out
½ cup servings, roll and flatten into patties with your hands and set aside. Patties should be about 2.5”-3” round - so on the smaller side. Flatten them out to approximately
½” thick. Heat the sesame oil on medium high heat in a large nonstick frying pan. Cook each patty until dark golden brown on each side (approximately 2 mins on each side - until cooked through). Set aside. I like to build a 'make your own’ wrap station with rinsed and trimmed iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced scallion, organic hoisin sauce, organic Sriracha and sweet chili sauce. Garnish with more
JF Spicy Salt and toasted sesame seeds.
