My version of haroset and matzo. Non-traditional–no walnuts, no red wine, no grain–but it's clean, super delish, and pairs just as well with all your holiday favorites. Each batch of dough yields 2 large, matzo crackers.
INGREDIENTS:
Walnut-Free Haroset:
- Pink lady apples, diced
- Pecans, chopped
-
Honey, to taste (I like Nette)
- Cinnamon, to taste (I like Burlap & Barrel)
Grain-Free JF Spicy Salt Matzo:

- ¼ cup coconut flour
- ¼ tsp JF Spicy Salt

- 1 egg
PROCESS:
Walnut-Free Haroset
1. In a small bowl, combine the chopped apples and pecans. Drizzle over the honey and add the cinnamon. Adjust to taste.
Grain-Free JF Spicy Salt Matzo
1. Preheat the oven to 350º.
2. Add all of your ingredients to a food processor; pulse to combine.
3. Once your dough has formed, divide it into two batches and roll each out between two pieces of parchment. A large cracker will form, about 1/16" thickness.
4. Remove the top sheet of parchment and use a fork to puncture shallow holes the length of the dough. Bake for 9-12 minutes, until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
5. Break into asymmetrical pieces and enjoy alongside our Walnut-Free Haroset.
