GARLIC SHRIMP

GARLIC SHRIMP

To make a complete dinner out of these shrimp, I prep rice or pasta in the AM before work. When I get home I simply sauté the shrimp. Easy, homemade dinner for all. These are amazing in tacos or over salad, in a make your own salad bar. Serves 4.

INGREDIENTS

1lb medium-size shrimp, tails removed optional
1½ Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp unsalted butter (sub ghee or vegan butter)
1 clove garlic, minced
JF Universal Salt, to taste
Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges

PROCESS

Heat the olive oil and butter together in a large sauté pan. Pat the shrimp dry and season generously with JF Universal Salt and fresh cracked black pepper.

Once the pan is heated to medium add thee garlic and heat slightly. Make sure not to burn! Add shrimp and cook for approximately 2 min on one side. Flip and continue to cook until the moisture evaporates and a golden brown crust forms on the bottom of the shrimp. Flip and repeat.

Remove from heat and serve with fresh lemon wedges, over rice, pasta, greens, veggies, or wrapped in tortillas!
