This may sound weird, but I promise it is delicious. The perfect way to solve an evening craving for an everything bagel. Serves 4.
INGREDIENTS:
1 box gluten free pasta (sub grain-free pasta)
3 Tbsp everything bagel seasoning
½ cup reserved pasta water
1 Tbsp unsalted butter (sub unsalted vegan butter)
½ cup of gluten free breadcrumbs (sub grain-free breadcrumbs)
½ cup pasta water
5oz cream cheese (sub vegan cream cheese)
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
PROCESS:
Cook your pasta according to the box and make sure to reserve some pasta water for the sauce. While the pasta is cooking, in a medium saucepan melt the butter and add the gluten free breadcrumbs to toast them. Add the everything bagel seasoning and a pinch of
JF Spicy Salt. Mix together and sauté until the breadcrumbs are toasted. Set to the side. After draining the pasta, in the same pot that the pasta cooked in, add the pasta water and cream cheese. Let it melt down into a sauce and add the pasta back into the pot. Toss the pasta until it is all coated. Plate the pasta and add the everything bagel seasoned toasted breadcrumbs and chopped chives.
