This beef reminds me of the yummy fast food beef I used to eat out when I was younger. This healthy version is the perfect addition to tacos, burritos, grain bowls, and even over pasta. Serves 4.
INGREDIENTS:
½ white onion, chopped
1lb organic, grass-fed ground beef
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried cilantro
1 tsp
JF Spicy Salt1 Tbsp tomato paste
TOPPINGS:
JF California Style GuacamoleJalapeño, deseeded and diced
Cilantro, chopped
Iceberg lettuce, choppedPlain coconut yogurtHot sauce

PROCESS:
In a large pan on medium heat, sauté the onion for about 3-5 minutes. Add in the ground beef. Season with cumin, chili powder, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, dried cilantro, and
JF Spicy Salt. Using the flat edge of a spatula, mix the seasoning into the meat and crumble it into small pieces. Add in the tomato paste and mix well. Taste the meat and add more seasoning if necessary. Cook on medium heat until the beef is cooked through.
