INGREDIENTS:
2 Tbsp poppy seeds
2 Tbsp dried minced onion (sub onion powder)
2 Tbsp dried minced garlic (sub garlic powder)
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup sliced almonds
⅓ cup chia seeds
⅓ cup hemp hearts
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
⅓ cup flax
½ cup psyllium husk
1½ tsp JF Spicy Salt
1¾ cup water, boiled
Cumin Flavored:
Add 1 tsp Cumin
Taco Flavored:
Add 1 Tbsp JF Taco Seasoning
Curry Flavored:
Substitute JF Spicy Salt with JF Curry Salt
PROCESS:
Preheat your oven to 350º. In a large bowl, combine the poppy seeds, dried minced onion, dried minced garlic, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds, chia seeds, hemp hearts, sesame seeds, flax, psyllium husk, and JF Spicy Salt. Pour the boiling water over the seed mixture and combine well.
Spread the mixture onto one large, prepared baking sheet. Use a piece of parchment paper to press down the mixture until it is evenly distributed. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and use a pizza cutter to slice into whatever shape you desire, I do squares. Separate the cut ‘crackers’ onto two separate baking sheets. Bake for 5-10 more minutes until you reach your desired crispness. Once cooled completely store in an airtight container.
