What to do when you get a head of napa cabbage double the size of your head? Roast it! This is a great extra for any salad or main course.
INGREDIENTS:
1 head napa cabbage, cored and quartered
3 garlic cloves, finely minced
½ cup parsley
¼ cup olive oil
1 tsp lemon zest
½ lemon, juiced
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
PROCESS:
Preheat the oven to 450°. Add the garlic, parsley, lemon zest, juice of lemon and olive oil into a blender until dressing is blended. Evenly pour the dressing down each side of the cabbage. Add salt and pepper and put in the oven. Let the cabbage roast in the oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes check on the cabbage. If the cabbage is still raw in the heavy ends, turn the oven down and add foil to the top for another 15 minutes. Once the cabbage is golden and crisp, they are ready to be taken out of the oven. Drizzle olive oil, parsley, more JF Spicy Salt on top and enjoy!
