This tofu is incredible and makes for the perfect taco filling. Serves 2.
INGREDIENTS:
1 package of tofu, drained and pressed
Hot sauce (I like
Tia Lupita)
Avocado oil
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
PROCESS:
Preheat the oven to
425º. After draining and pressing the tofu, cut it in half continuously until there are 32 bite-sized squares. Place them in a bowl, brush the hot sauce all over being careful not to break/crumble the tofu. Spray a baking sheet with avocado oil and place the squares on it. They should not touch. Season with
JF Spicy Salt. Bake for 10-12 minutes then flip them using tongs. Coat them with more hot sauce and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes. Use this for a vegetarian taco filling with your favorite toppings.
