SOY FREE SESAME CRUSTED SEARED AHI TUNA OVER GREEN ONION AND GINGER FRIED CAULIFLOWER RICE

This seared ahi tuna dish is easy to make and packs a lot of flavor. Try this for dinner for the whole family. Serves 2. 

INGREDIENTS:

Sesame Crusted Seared Ahi Tuna:
2 ahi tuna steaks
2 Tbsp sesame oil
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
¼ cup white sesame seeds
¼ cup black sesame seeds
1 Tbsp coconut oil
 
Green Onion and Ginger Fried Cauliflower Rice:
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
2 bags frozen organic cauliflower rice
Ginger, freshly grated
½ cup green onion
2 tsp JF Spicy Salt
Fresh cracked black pepper 

PROCESS:

Sesame Crusted Seared Ahi Tuna
In a small bowl, combine the white and black sesame seeds. Pour them out over a medium sized plate. Set to the side. In a medium bowl, pour 2 Tbsp of sesame oil. Place the Ahi tuna steaks in the sesame oil and let sit for 2 minutes on each side. Season each side with JF Spicy Salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Dredge the steaks through the sesame seeds. In a large pan on medium high heat, sear the tuna steaks for about 1 minute on each side in the coconut oil. Slice thin and serve on top of the cauliflower rice.
 
Ginger Green Onion Cauliflower Rice
In a large pan, heat olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds and add the frozen cauliflower rice. Add the fresh ginger and green onions. Season with JF Spicy Salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Serve under the seared Ahi tuna.
