SPICY BAKED TOFU

SPICY BAKED TOFU

I don't eat tofu a lot, but when I do this is how I like it. Super simple and spicy! Serves 2.

INGREDIENTS

1 package of organic extra firm tofu, moisture removed and cubed (sub pumfu)
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

TOPPINGS

Sriracha
Organic sweet chili sauce
Green onion, chopped
Fresh cilantro, chopped

PROCESS

Preheat the oven to 350º. Remove the tofu from the package, drain and press excess moisture out with 2 paper towels. Cut in half, press again to remove more moisture, then cube.

Lay out the cubes in a single layer, not touching, on a parchment lined baking sheet. Generously season with JF Spicy Salt and pepper. You can also toss in bowl to coat evenly, but I like an uneven salty crunch to mine.

Bake for approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the size of the cubes. I like them to be golden brown and looking crispy. Serve over Sriracha or organic sweet chili sauce and top with diced green onion and cilantro. This is so good with broccoli or on a chopped salad.
