THE EASIEST YELLOW RICE

Try this simple yellow rice as an alternative to my taco night rice. Serves 3.

INGREDIENTS:

2 Tbsp unsalted butter (sub vegan butter)
1 cup rice (sub cauliflower rice)
½ tsp turmeric
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tsp dried minced onion
1 tsp JF Spicy Salt
2 cups chicken broth

 

PROCESS:

In a medium pot, melt the unsalted butter and add the rice to the pot. Toast the rice until it is just golden brown and add the turmeric, minced garlic, dried minced onion, and JF Spicy Salt. Mix together well. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Simmer for 25 minutes and this is done.
