My dad's signature Tri-tip roast, Santa Maria style. Typically a tougher cut of meat, but so delicious when prepared well, and also the perfect base for my newest (unreleased) seasoning blend! Serves 12.
INGREDIENTS:
2 tri-tip roasts, fat left on
JF Seasoning Blend (coming soon!)
PROCESS:
Season your tri-tip with my JF Seasoning Blend. On a hot barbecue, begin to char each roast. You’re looking for a crisp, browned exterior before flipping to the other side; about 45 minutes in total.
When 45 minutes has elapsed, remove from the heat to rest. Slice against the grain and serve warm. Enjoy!
